Dues Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 6, 2026
Integra Limited ("we," "us," or "our") operates Dues. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
If you are using the Service on behalf of a child under the age of 13, please also review our Children's Privacy Policy, which describes the additional protections we apply to children's data.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, password, and date of birth.
- Child information (parents only). When you add a child, we collect their first name, last name, date of birth, and (for children aged 13 and over) their email address.
- Activity data. Assignments, activities, grades, and other academic information that you or your child log in the Service.
- Communications. Messages or other content you send to us through support channels.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs, and general interaction patterns.
- Device information. Device type, operating system, browser type, and app version.
- Log data. IP address, access times, and error logs.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage to maintain your session and remember your preferences.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage your account, process parent-child linking, and manage consent.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, connection requests, status updates).
- Respond to your support requests.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Parent-child connections. When a parent-child link is approved, the parent can view the child's assignments, activities, and progress. Students aged 13–17 must approve this connection; for children under 13, the parent provides consent on their behalf.
- Service providers. We engage third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers process data under contracts that restrict them from using it for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Payment information
When paid features are enabled, payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes.
For children under 13, see section 7 of our Children's Privacy Policy for specific retention terms.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Dues_Support@pocketiapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You may also unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
8. International data transfers
Integra Limited is based in Ghana. If you use the Service from outside Ghana, your information may be transferred to and processed in Ghana or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers. We take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.
9. Age restrictions
The Service is designed for parents and students aged 13 and older. Students under 13 may use the Service only through an account created by a parent or legal guardian with verified parental consent under COPPA. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
