Dues Children's Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 6, 2026

Integra Limited ("we," "us," or "our") operates Dues. This Children's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information from children under the age of 13 ("children" or "child"). It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and its implementing regulations. If any part of this policy conflicts with COPPA, the stricter standard applies.

1. When this policy applies

This policy applies whenever a parent or legal guardian creates a Dues account on behalf of a child under 13. Children under 13 cannot create their own accounts.

2. Information we collect from children

We collect only what is reasonably necessary for the child to participate in the service. Specifically:

  • First name and last name (provided by the parent during account setup).
  • Date of birth (provided by the parent, used to determine applicable privacy protections).
  • Username and password (created by the parent for the child's login).
  • School activities and assignment information (logged by the child or synced from connected school tools once the account is active).
  • Basic usage data such as login timestamps and pages visited within the app.

We do not collect:

  • Photos, videos, or audio recordings from children.
  • Precise geolocation data.
  • Contact lists, social media identifiers, or advertising identifiers.

3. How we use children's information

We use a child's information solely to:

  • Provide the service: display assignments, activities, and progress to the child and their connected parent or guardian.
  • Maintain and improve the service: diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and improve performance.
  • Communicate with the parent: send account-related notifications to the parent's email address (never directly to the child by email).

4. Disclosure of children's information

We do not sell, rent, or trade children's personal information. We do not share it for advertising purposes. We never show ads to children.

We may share children's information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With the connected parent or guardian. The core function of the service is to let a parent view their child's assignments and activities.
  • With service providers. We use a limited number of third-party providers (such as hosting, database, and email-delivery services) that process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations to keep it confidential and use it only to provide services to us.
  • When required by law. We will disclose information if compelled by a valid legal process such as a court order, subpoena, or regulatory requirement.

5. Parental rights

As a parent or legal guardian of a child under 13, you have the right to:

  • Review your child's personal information at any time through your parent dashboard.
  • Request deletion of your child's personal information by contacting us at Dues_Support@pocketiapp.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Revoke consent and close your child's account at any time. When you do, we will delete the child's personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
  • Refuse further collection. You may instruct us to stop collecting additional information from your child while still allowing them to use existing features, provided the information is not essential to the service.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Dues_Support@pocketiapp.com.

6. Parental consent

Before we collect any information from a child under 13, we require verifiable parental consent. During account setup, the parent must review our COPPA disclosure, confirm that they are the child's parent or legal guardian, and affirmatively consent by checking a required checkbox and clicking "Confirm and continue."

We store the consent text version, the timestamp, and the parent's account identifier for each consent event.

7. Data retention

We retain children's personal information only as long as the child's account is active and the parent maintains a connected account. When a parent closes a child's account or requests deletion, we delete the child's personal information within 30 days. Aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked back to a child may be retained for analytics.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect children's personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Children's Privacy Policy, we will notify parents by email and, where required by COPPA, obtain new consent before collecting additional information under the revised policy. The updated policy will indicate its new effective date.
